This is a fun article about Mexico City that was written by Anthony Bourdain. They visited Mexico City and published this fact-finding article entitled “Ten Things You Didn’t Know About Mexico City” where Bourdain filmed his latest show of his series. Click on the link above and enjoy! I did!

I found the show to be quite gruesome and not really about food, but I know that Tony Bourdain likes to show quirky stuff. In this case he really focused on the drug wars which is not something, in my humble opinion, that describes Mexico City. The city is actually one of the safest places to be in the entire country. He also stated that there is only terrible poverty and immense wealth. Fortunately this is simply not true, as there is a pretty significant rising middle class. I lived in Mexico City for 35 years and watched the middle class grow and really take off.

The article is  fun to read though,  for those of you who would like to know more about Mexico City, and Tony Bourdain manages to describe the city in more positive terms in this article.

"I am elated today, having just spoken in Spanish with my first colleague from Mexico! Nina's classes give me not only the proper words, grammar and pronunciation to display conversation, but also a demeanor which would impress my new colleague. It is incredibly empowering to speak to a new partner in their native language. Without classes with Nina, I would not have the confidence or the skill to do so! Thank you Nina!"

“Nina has provided reliable advice that shows her years of experience in communicating between two very different business cultures and languages. My advice now is don’t try it alone. Doing the job right means getting this kind of help from the get-go, when business relationships with Spanish-speakers are just being created.”
    ~ Brian Price, Denver Colorado
