A massive earthquake with an 8.2 magnitude, hit off the coast of Northern Chile Tuesday night, April 1st. The government evacuated most of the country’s long and winding coastline.

The massive earthquake in Chile caused the first waves of a tsunami
which hit many of the cities on the coastline which is 2,653 miles
long.

Chile lies in one of the world’s most earthquake prone zones.
There was an 8.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Central Chile in 2010 which left 525 people dead. Tuesday night’s
massive earthquake with its epicenter 53 miles southwest of Cuya
near the border of Peru has reported the death of five people.
The Interior  Minister that the deaths occurred in the city of Iquique, and were the result of heart attacks and crushing.

The national emergency service ordered immediate evacuation of all
coastal areas including Easter Island and the archipelago of Juan Fernandez.

No looting has been reported, but electricity failures occurred
across most of Arica, which is a port city of about 200,000 people.

Since the massive earthquake which hit in 2010, the Chilean authorities have been working on improving the evacuation procedures.

The news media also reports that the evacuation procedures which took place Tuesday evening, were made in a relatively calm and orderly manner.

The Chilean government has staged several tsunami emergency drills along the coast so that people can be more prepared and be more aware of what they must do.

I do trust all of the ideas you have introduced for your
post. They are really convincing and can definitely work.
Nonetheless, the posts are very short for novices.
May you please prolong them a little from next time?

    Thanks for the post.

"I am elated today, having just spoken in Spanish with my first colleague from Mexico! Nina's classes give me not only the proper words, grammar and pronunciation to display conversation, but also a demeanor which would impress my new colleague. It is incredibly empowering to speak to a new partner in their native language. Without classes with Nina, I would not have the confidence or the skill to do so! Thank you Nina!"

“Nina has provided reliable advice that shows her years of experience in communicating between two very different business cultures and languages. My advice now is don’t try it alone. Doing the job right means getting this kind of help from the get-go, when business relationships with Spanish-speakers are just being created.”
    ~ Brian Price, Denver Colorado
