An Interesting Accusation in Venezuela
Vice President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela accused members of the opposing political party
of trying to overthrow the government of Hugo Chavez.
The opposition states that the absence of the president at the ceremony which would usher in his next presidential term on January 10th, should require that the head of the National Assembly assume
the office of President of Venezuela.
Now, dear readers, I think that this is a very interesting accusation, if we consider the following:
Both Hugo Chavez and the head of the National Assembly belong to the same political party, the United Socialist Party!
How can this be considered an overthrow of the current government?
What do you think?
